Rooted in thankfulness, Michael spends much of his time observing and reflecting on the world around him. Every moment is an opportunity for inspiration. And to him, the imagination is like a galactic river continually moving in different realms—only accessed when one actively chooses to tap into it.
Though there are times when it looks like he’s lost in thought, Michael never wants to miss interacting with the people around him. He finds himself smiling when having both simple and complex conversations and when uplifting others by instilling hope and encouraging action.
With a background in sculpture, printmaking, textiles, drawing, and painting, Michael found graphic design to be the natural convergence of his appreciation and passion for both people and creative pursuits. As a recent graduate of the University of Louisville with a BFA in Graphic Design, he focused on studying and researching the artistic nuances and meanings from various cultures and subcultures. He views graphic design as an opportunity to make art that focuses on empowering the expression of others.
When not working on personal art projects, you can find Michael cooking up new recipes for his next meal, discovering new artists and studios, or watching over baby bunnies in his back yard.
