Top 5 albums in rotation

Our studio playlist is super varied. Kind of like the work that we do. Some of it very minimal and spare while other selections are saturated and loud. Take a look at each of our current top 5 albums in rotation and check back for more later.

These are in no particular order. 1 and 5 are for getting shit done and 2-4 are for keeping me sane on long travel days.

1. Streams of Thought Vol. 1 – Black Thought
2. Endless – Frank Ocean
3. Selected Ambient Works 85-92 – Aphex Twin
4. Dropped Pianos – Tim Hecker
5. Negative Space – Homemade Weapons

Ye – Kanye West
Rapture – Anita Baker
Freudian – Daniel Caesar
A Love Supreme – John Coltrane
Everything is Love – The Carters

Yuck – Yuck (this album happens every summer)
Nowhere – Ride (never go too long without this)
Night & Day – Joe Jackson (anticipating steppin out)
Cargo – Men at Work (not as solid as the first, but ‘It’s a Mistake’ is unbeatable)
Sumday – Grandaddy (recently revisited, still love)

You know, when people look at a tree, they look at the leaves; they don't look at the spaces between the leaves. They're focused on the tree. I think there's an awareness of spaces or it wouldn't look like a tree to them.
